Giving Service by Sewing Butterflies

Sister Malan had a spectacular service project ready to go on March 2nd which involved creating sock puppets by sewing felt butterflies and cocoons onto socks. The puppet was made by sewing the butterfly on one side of the sock and then, after turning the sock inside out, the cocoon was sewn on the other. Afterward the butterflies were decorated with buttons. Cute idea!
