Amy Bank grew up a very creative kid in upstate New York. In high school she claims she was less popular (it could have been the Popsicle-stick necklace she made and wore to school each day). She went to college and studied Early Childhood Education for a year. If you need a good laugh, ask her about working for 4 different Chinese Restaurants and why she “had to get out of the business”.
When she was 23, she was in need of God in her life; she went seeking and found the LDS church. She worked closely with her beloved Sister Missionaries and was soon baptized. She served a mission in Soule Korea where she had a hard time because everyone looked like her! She next came to BYU because that is where “all the cute Mormon boys where”. She spent the next few years going to school and raising her son Jedrick, from her first marriage.
One day she decided it was time to spread her comedic wings and put on an hour long comedy show. Matt Banks saw her and called her a few months later for a date. Amy already had a date scheduled so she turned him down. Thankfully her date cancelled and she called Matt to pick her up last minute. Matt wooed Amy the next few mouths by buying her motorcycle gear. They married and twins joined their family a year later. Amy is super busy with her kids and cooking Korean food!
