Anna Fowler

Anna Fowler is one of our new secretaries. This Georgia Peach grew up as an Army kid. She lived in Georgia, California and Oregon. She is the 4th of 7 kids. After graduation Anna decided to have an adventure so she attended BYU-Hawaii. Her PE credits are in surfing and hula.

During her freshmen year she was at the beach and her backpack was stolen with all her cash for her books in it. She said a quick prayer and started combing the beach. She was running around asking people if they had seen her backpack. Everyone was looking at her but one man. When she approached him he hopped on his bike and peddled away. She ran after him and finally caught hold of the bike and saw her bag tied the back. She held on to his arm and yelled for someone to call the police while he tried to get away. A crowd gathered and a VERY large poly guy came forward and said “this girl is with me” and helped hold the thief until police arrived. Anna went home and knew God answered prayers.

During her sophomore year, she decided to get serious and transferred to BYU-Provo. She started studying Biology. She then went on a mission to Taiwan where she fell in love with the Chinese language. After her mission she finished her studies and graduated in Chinese with a minor in Biology. She started working at Nu skin and met her husband at friends BBQ. James was the tall, Chinese speaking man of Anna’s dreams.

After they married and little baby Jim came along, the Fowler family moved to China so James could do an internship. Anna looked forward to her daily bike rides around the streets of China with baby Jim’s car seat strapped to the back. After China they moved to DC and lived there for a year. They are now back in Provo while James works on his MBA. After graduation she hopes to go back to China for a while and then move to Oregon to be close to family.

You can find Anna playing with her 2 boys, going to play groups, blogging, playing the guitar or playing tennis.
