Susan Nielson grew up in an Air Force family.
Her favorite place they lived was in
South Korea when she was a teenager.
She learned to cook a few of their dishes and went to school on base.
Susan came to BYU right after graduation and is in her junior year studying nutrition.
She then wants to study to be a physical assistant.
She met her husband Ryan in a singles ward.
Susan was the choir pianist and Ryan wanted to sing.
He asked her out immediately and they were engaged 4 months later.
She has been married 2 months.
They spent the summer in
China in a study abroad program.
When Susan is not “focused on school” she enjoys hiking, cooking and baking.
She loves to bake breads and pastries!
