Extra clothes in your closet???
You might want to donate them to Lily Heftel for her volunteer organization Chain Breakers.
This group provides clothes and other necessities to women who fled from abusive relationships.
Lily is girly girl who grew up in
Mexico.
When she was 14 her best friend introduced her to the gospel. At that time, she wanted to explore some more religions.
Because Lily loves to travel she kissed her mom goodbye and came to the states.
She worked in
Seattle as a nanny and even worked in an Alaskan fish cannery.
She then moved back to
Mexico and called her LDS next door neighbor and said, send the missionaries over I want to learn about Christ.
She was baptized 3 months later.
While vacationing in Vegas she met her husband Richard on a blind date.
They fell in love, married and moved back to
Utah.
They have been living here for 4 years and had their son Richard 2 years ago.
Lily said that being a mom is “the most amazing thing I have experienced”.
Having a son has not slowed this families travel plans.
Since being married they have been to
Spain,
New York,
Hawaii,
France and
Italy.
You can find Lily playing with her son, exercising, reading, or exploring new fashion and make up ideas.
