Ellie Hanagarne

Ellie Hanagarne has been dancing since birth. In her teen years she attended a special Arts High School and studied ballet and modern dance. She next attended Boston Conservatory to further study dance.

She met Kyle in a college singles ward when she was a senior and he was a freshman. They hung out one day and Kyle wanted to continue hang out that night. Ellie already had a date/hang out with another man. She knew what she needed to do-she invite Kyle to come with her on her date/hang out. I think all three people had an interesting time at the movies that night! Kyle and Ellie became an item until she graduated and Kyle when on his mission.

Ellie moved to New York City to dance professionally and wrote him faithfully for 2 years. When Kyle got back, he finally worked up the courage to call her to let her “fly free”. After an hour on the phone, Kyle knew he needed to get reacquainted with this sweet woman. After a long distance courtship and engagement, they got married a year later in NYC (and yes, the wedding pictures are totally awesome).

Ellie currently teaches dance. She is a hard core summer outdoor girl who enjoys tennis, swimming, hiking and modern art. When Kyle graduates they hope to head back east to a big city!
