Lindsey Havican

Lindsey Havican grew up as a Texas “band nerd”. She graduated and came to BYU to study Elementary Education.

Lindsey’s freshmen year, her room mate had a crush on a boy named Jared. Lindsey was a bit jealous and decided she must have Jared instead. Luckily, Jared was totally interested in Lindsey and not her roomie. They dated long distance for the next few years. When Lindsey was 21 she went on a mission to Neuquén, Argentina. Lindsey and Jared left on their missions around the same time so they wrote each other faithfully-ish (Jared took 6 months off).

When Jared came home, Lindsey made a surprise visit for his homecoming. They both headed back to BYU and dated and broke up for a week….then 3 months later they were engaged. They married in December 2007. Lindsey graduated and is now a part time teacher to her 1^st grade class at Rock Canyon. They welcomed little Landon into their family 4 months ago. Lindsey loves to play sports, keep up with the news, watch BYU football, play games, craft and in a rocking great guitar hero chick. After serving the last year in the Spanish speaking ward, Lindsey is happy to be back in the PP4th.
