Lenita Keller

Lenita Keller’s husband fell in love with her on their 2^nd date, but we’ll talk about that later. Lenita was born and raised in SLC. In high school she danced ballet but hung up her slippers when she came to BYU to study Home and Family Living. Her freshmen year she took a country western swing dance class. After one dance class an “older man” asked her to go get some ice cream. Thank goodness she loves ice cream because she accepted her future husband John’s offer! He kept asking her out and she kept accepting.

After 1 ½ years he convinced her to marry him and they where hitched 6 weeks later. Lenita has not regretted her decision once. After a humanitarian trip to Peru for 10 days, they learned they were going to have a baby. Lenita quickly finished her 42 credits and graduated before the birth of their son Samuel. Ada joined their busy family 2 months ago.

During an average day Lenita juggles 2 kids, does the accounting for her husbands business, learns to cook, goes for walks and scrapbooks. She also enjoys doing little projects and just finished organizing the love letters from her courtship with John.
